Eternal Gardens-CDO, in partnership with the Community Improvement Division (CID), organized a Skills Livelihood Training (food processing) for the women in Balua, Cagayan de Oro City. It was headed by Marisa Tagarda (OIC), with the Livelihood Coordinator Jess Tejado, Dominique Estrada, Safety Officer Aileen Berou, and TESDA Trainor Charlotte Ytem.

As part of the Valentine’s Day celebration, participants were given red flowers as a gift by the Chairman of Brgy. Bulua, Al Legaspi. The flowers were distributed by Kagawad Joyce Daang and some of the participants’ husbands.

Flowers and chocolates may be the usual go-to gift during Valentine’s, but an experience like this will be an unforgettable one, and will surely empower the women of the community.
