Eternal Gardens Balagtas, in tribute to its founder, Amb. Antonio L. Cabangon Chua, celebrated his birth anniversary by spreading love and compassion to the children of Barangay Balagtas, Batangas City. The Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) event, aptly named “A Gift of Love: Nurturing Lives Through Shared Compassion,” was held on August 30, 2023, at the Balagtas Health Center.
The activity brought together 100 children from the community, who were the focal point of a day filled with warmth, generosity, and smiles. The dedication to enriching the lives of these children underscores Eternal Gardens’ commitment to the community it serves.
The event was made possible by the dedicated employees of Eternal Gardens, with Branch Manager Jocelyn Ann Buendia taking the lead in organizing and overseeing the proceedings.
The main highlight of “A Gift of Love” was the distribution of essential school supplies and delightful loot bags containing biscuits and drinks to the children. These donations were designed not only to meet their immediate needs but also to inspire and support their educational journeys. The smiling faces of the young recipients were a testament to the success of this initiative.
“We believe in the power of giving back to the community, and today, we celebrated the life and legacy of our founder by making a meaningful difference in the lives of these children,” said Jocelyn Ann Buendia, Branch Manager of Eternal Gardens Balagtas.
Eternal Gardens Balagtas extends its heartfelt gratitude to the Sangguniang Barangay of Balagtas led by Chairman Minda Untiveros with Councilor Sharlinda Beredo, and Brgy. Health worker Lanie Panaligan. Their collective efforts helped brighten the day for the children of Barangay Balagtas, Batangas City, leaving them with cherished memories and renewed hope for a better future.
